Product Overview
dew: Disposable Electronic Wristband from Prodigy™ is an advanced tracking solution developed to assist medical authorities to identify and track patients in designated quarantine facilities.
The wristband is integrated with 2.4GHz RF beacon technology operating at 2.4GHz, connecting it seamless with beacon-based tracking systems and Home Quarantine Support Systems. The ultra-low power circuit design ensures continuous broadcast every 1 second interval, meeting the long quarantine period sets by the global health officials.
The 2.4GHz RF broadcast packages meets the Apple™ iBeacon™ protocol and also the Hong Kong Health department Stay-at-Home SHS protocol. Custom protocol can be supported.
The wrist bands have anti-removable design and is hard to removed/opened after being worn. The build-in electronic tamper detection circuit detect any unauthorized removal or opening of the band after being worn.
Operation Overview
The wristband continuous broadcast 2.4GHz RF packages.
The packages are collected by either of the paired mobile phone, paired set-top box or the SHS mobile app.
The signal status is then be reported to the back end server systems.
By monitoring the signal status, the backend server systems determine whether the person has left home, disconnected or broken the electronic wristband.
