Prodigy's CPU
Module is based on ATMEL's AT91SAM7S series of 32-bit
ARM microcontrollers. It features a high-speed Flash
and an SRAM, a large set of peripherals, including a
USB 2.0 device and a complete set of system functions
minimizing the number of external components. General
purpose pin headers provide easy access and usage of
the on-chip peripherals. It is an ideal modular board
solution to build a product faster for
the proof of concept and also the volume production.
The modular solution enables the existing 8-bit microcontroller
users to migrate to 32-bit ARM platform, looking for
additional performance and extended memory.
The embedded Flash memory can be programmed in-system
via the JTAG-ICE interface or a serial interface on
a production line. |
